Acquisition of 267 Adelaide Street South
St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church was formally established around 2011–2012 to serve the growing Maronite and Middle Eastern Christian population in London and Southwestern Ontario.
Before becoming a permanent parish, local Maronite families gathered through mission liturgies, volunteer coordination, diocesan support, and community events. The desire for a permanent spiritual home rooted in faith, family, tradition, and hospitality eventually led to the establishment of the parish.
