Community Outreach
Newcomer Assistance
t. Elias Parish welcomes newcomers and newly arrived families with compassion, guidance, and practical support. Through fellowship, community connections, and parish outreach, we strive to help individuals and families feel at home spiritually, socially, and culturally as they begin a new chapter in Canada.
Refugee Support
Inspired by the Gospel call to serve those in need, St. Elias supports refugee families through prayer, community assistance, fundraising initiatives, and acts of hospitality. The parish seeks to provide dignity, encouragement, and a sense of belonging to those rebuilding their lives after hardship and displacement
Bereavement Support
During times of grief and loss, St. Elias offers pastoral care, prayer, memorial liturgies, and compassionate accompaniment to individuals and families mourning the loss of loved ones. Our parish community seeks to bring comfort, hope, and spiritual support rooted in faith in the Resurrection.
Family Suppor
Family life stands at the heart of the parish community. St. Elias supports families through sacramental preparation, youth engagement, spiritual formation, counseling referrals, fellowship opportunities, and community gatherings that strengthen faith, unity, and intergenerational connection.
Hospitality
Hospitality
Hospitality is a defining part of the Maronite tradition and parish identity. St. Elias strives to create a welcoming environment where all people — parishioners, visitors, newcomers, and guests — are received with warmth, respect, fellowship, and a spirit of Christian generosity.
