A Life of Faith and Service (Timeline)

  • 1992 | Born in Ain Ebel, Lebanon: Born in a proud Maronite village known for faith, strength, and love for family and country.

  • 2000 | Immigrated to Canada: At age 8, Marc and his family moved to Canada, embracing the freedom and opportunities of their new home.

  • 2010 | Called to Serve: Joined the Canadian Armed Forces to stand for peace, freedom, and national values.

  • 2014 | Deployed in Service: Deployed as a proud Canadian soldier to protect the country he called home.

  • 2017 | Continued Leadership: Served with dedication and courage, earning the respect of peers and leaders.

  • 2023 | The Ultimate Sacrifice: Tragically killed in the line of duty in the service of peace.


A Proud Canadian, A Faithful Servant

The tribute describes Marc as a man who loved Lebanon but chose Canada, serving both with honor. It notes his commitment to giving back to the nation that welcomed his family. “He stood for Canada. He gave everything.”


St. Elias Fundraising for Canadian Forces

In honor of his sacrifice, St. Elias Parish is dedicating fundraising efforts to support members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families.

Funds Will Support:

  • Programs for military personnel and veterans.

  • Mental health and trauma recovery initiatives.

  • Family support services for military families.

  • Faith-based and community care programs.

  • Emergency assistance for military families in need.
